You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to find a truly great strawberry scent. Most of the ones I tested smelled funky, like bad chemicals, and not like strawberry at all. Even more of them didn’t pass my skin testing, because they mutated or wore off way too quickly. But I really think I’ve got a winner with this one! My perfumer says it has bottom notes of cotton candy and french vanilla, but what I smell is a gorgeous, fresh strawberry that’s softened just a bit by a light sweetness. It’s not cloying or overly sweet by any means. I think it’s just right, and I’m thrilled to add it to my scent list.
